Our Booking Policies

General Terms

By booking a tour with Indiana Taj Tour ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all services provided, including packaged tours, custom itineraries, transportation, and guiding services.

Booking & Payment

  • A deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. The balance is due as communicated in your booking confirmation.
  • Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and approved digital wallets.
  • All prices are listed in INR unless specified otherwise and are subject to applicable taxes and fees.

Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancellations made 7+ days before the tour start are eligible for a refund minus non-refundable fees.
  • Cancellations within 7 days may incur partial or full charges depending on suppliers and arrangements.
  • No-shows and unused services are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy (Detailed)

The following schedule applies unless otherwise noted in your booking confirmation or package details:

  • 7 days or more before start: 100% refund minus any non-refundable vendor fees and bank/payment gateway charges.
  • 3–6 days before start: 50% refund of the total tour price. Non-refundable components are deducted.
  • Less than 72 hours before start: Non-refundable.
  • No-show or early departure: Non-refundable.
  • Special events/peak seasons: Stricter policies may apply per hotel, airline, or activity supplier terms; these will be communicated at booking.

Changes & Rescheduling

  • Date or itinerary changes are subject to availability and may involve additional costs.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes requested at least 72 hours in advance.
  • Significant changes caused by force majeure may result in equivalent alternatives or credits.

Guest Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate personal information and disclose any special needs at booking time.
  • Carry valid identification, visas, permits, and comply with local laws and customs.
  • Follow safety instructions from guides and service providers throughout the tour.

Inclusions & Exclusions

  • Inclusions and exclusions will be specified in your itinerary or package details.
  • Personal expenses, optional activities, and tips are not included unless stated.
  • Hotel categories and room types are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes due to events beyond our control (e.g., weather, strikes, natural disasters).
  • In such events, we will endeavor to provide suitable alternatives or credits where possible.

Liability & Insurance

  • Indiana Taj Tour acts in good faith but is not responsible for third-party acts or omissions.
  • We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering health, trip interruption, and belongings.
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of services booked directly through us, where mandated by law.

Privacy

  • We collect and process personal data in accordance with our privacy practices for booking and service delivery.
